FR EMIL BLASER OP – REST IN PEACE
It is with deepest sadness and profound regret that we announce that the founder of Radio Veritas, our beloved Fr Emil John Blaser OP, has died. He passed away yesterday (November 16) in the early evening in hospital, after a long illness. Fr Emil will be sadly missed and deeply mourned by all of us at Radio Veritas. We have lost a Director, a mentor, a father, a friend and a Pastor and the Church has lost a wonderful and gifted priest. A light has gone out at this radio station, and in the Church in South Africa. We send our deepest condolences to his family and to his brethren in the Dominican Order and to all who knew and loved him.
Eternal rest grant to him O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his dear soul rest in peace.
Arrangements for tributes and funeral will be communicated in the coming day
