In February 2021 Pope Francis asked us to pray for women who are victims of violence, that they may be protected by society and have their sufferings considered and heeded. The Vicar for Justice and Peace, Archdiocese of Johannesburg, asks us to extend this prayer request and integrate it into our daily prayer intentions during the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence, 25 November 2021 – 10 December 2021.
