The Vocation’s Department of the Archdiocese of Johannesburg has noted a fake poster circulating on social media, claiming that Mr. Kamohelo Mokhethi will be ordained to the Diaconate on 13 December 2025 by His Eminence, Cardinal Stephen Brislin.
We wish to categorically state that this information is false. Mr. Kamohelo Mokhethi is not a seminarian nor a student of the Archdiocese of Johannesburg. There are no plans or preparations for such an ordination.
The Vocation’s Department distances itself completely from these fake news and misleading posts.
We urge the faithful and the public to rely only on official communication platforms of the Archdiocese for accurate and verified information.
