SUBJECT: PASSING-ON OF RIGHT REV. BISHOP EMERITUS ZITHULELE PATRICK MVEMVE (KLERKSDORP) FUNERAL ARRANGEMENTS

It is with sadness that I would like to inform the Bishop’s, Clergy, Religious and Laity in the Metropolitan Archdiocese of Johannesburg, concerning the death of RIGHT REV. BISHOP EMERITUS ZITHULELE PATRICK MVEMVE, who passed away on Monday afternoon at Flora Life Hospital.
The funeral of the late Bishop Mvemve (emeritus) will take place on TUESDAY, 14TH JULY 2020, at the CATHEDRAL OF CHRIST THE KING, JOHANNESBURG. The Requiem Mass will commence at 9H30. The Requiem Mass will be lived streamed in order for the People of God to bid farewell to Bishop Mvemve.

Kindly take note that, due to the Coronavirus restrictions placed on numbers permitted to attend funerals, we would like to remind you, that should you wish to attend the funeral, we do kindly request that you RSVP with Mrs Morag Richardson at the Chancery Offices on: (011) 402 6400 in this regard in order to comply with the present regulations by no later Thursday 9th July 2020.
In order for us to comply with the restrictions we hereby invite ten (10) Bishops, ten (10) priests from Johannesburg, ten (10) priests from Klerksdorp , five (5) Religious Sisters and the rest will be family members.
