Launch of New Pastoral Plan at Regina Mundi Church, Sunday 26 January 2020, 10h00
The Bishops of Southern African Catholic Bishops’ Conference territory have decided to launch the new Pastoral Plan on Sunday, 6 January 2020. The Regina Mundi Church, Soweto, has been selected as the venue. Holy Mass will start at 10h00. All the bishops and priests of the Archdiocese are invited to concelebrate.
We also invite all the Catholics of the Archdiocese to attend the launch of this new Pastoral Plan. We also kindly request the priests to celebrate the Sunday Mass early on the day to enable that parishioners to attend the Regina Mundi celebration.
The Holy Eucharist will be preceded by a procession starting at 08h30 at a venue in Soweto still to be determined by the organising committee.
Most of the priests already have copies of the new Pastoral Plan. Copies for sale will be available for the parishioners.
We warmly encourage all the Catholics of the Archdiocese to make every effort to come and celebrate and welcome all the Bishops of the SACBC territory.
