Ending corruption in our country begins with me
In August 2020, Bishop Sithembele Sipuka, Catholic Bishop of Mthatha and President of the Southern African Catholic Bishops, said: “generally described, corruption is “the abuse of entrusted power for private gain” (cg. www.transparency.org). This general description is applicable to all, and not only to the government officials … Toi us the vehicle provided for the purpose of our work for private trips and to make money is corruption.”
What do you say? How does this message challenge you to change your life?
As we get enraged with corruption committed by our political leaders, let us remember that I too have the responsibility to stop corruption activities in my life.
